Peace out y'all! Off to NoVA for the weekend, gonna see School of Rock tonight at Arlington Cinema 'N' Draft House. Tomorrow my lovely girlfriend and I are headin' to the the new Steven F. Udvar-Haxy Center, an annex of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and then the UofL vs. Marquette game comes on at 3 on ESPN(be there, or be a bitch). Of course, Sunday is Superbowl XXXVIII, Go Carolina!!

I'm not a religious person...

but I actually sat and read through a good part of the bible this morning. I recommend The Epistles: 1 Corinthians 7:2, 7:3.

Louisville over Houston 64-48

Well the fellas did it again. They pulled out a 64-48 victory against Houston tonight at Freedom Hall. Sure it was unranked Houston, but hell, we were missing two key players and a coach. That makes it 16-1 for the Cards on the season. Hot Damn! I didn't get to see the game, but you can bet your ass I had the ESPN Game Update refreshing every 30 seconds. For that reason I can't comment on the coaching of Willard, but I'm sure ole Pitino was breathin' a healthy sigh of relief. Anyway, get back soon coach, we're gonna need you on Saturday vs. Marquette.

The Big Freeze

Here we are on night two of the "Big Freeze" in the Valley. Class is cancelled tomorrow, daytime at least. I have a 5:15 BIO that has yet to be determined. So that's the third day sans-class, not that I'm complaining. Sure, we'll have to catch up a bit to get back on the ever so important syllabus, but I can cope.

I didn't leave the house today. I finished up my low-relief sculpture for 3D and managed to vaccum my floor. Other than that all I really did was find some interesting shit (in my opinion) on the internet and post it for you guys. The Mugblog now has a new member to the Blog Roll, a new link to take a peak at the Mars landscape and other varied space views (aka remote NM locations), a quiz to find out which Founding Father you are, a bad-ass ninja video, and the FUTURE OF MUSIC. You're welcome.

In other news, John Kerry won the New Hampshire primary. Way to go John. Have fun fattening up before you get fed to the dogs of war.

And the best news of the day: Coach Pitino may resume coaching duties for the 'Ville on Saturday's game vs. Marquette. We still have to get past Houston tomorrow without Dean, Garcia, or the big man, but I've got faith. We just need to make sure that if (when) we do win, we call Asst. Coach Willard a cab after the game.
